TiviMate Account: Setup, Premium & Login
TiviMate account setup explained: create one, unlock premium, renew your subscription, fix login errors, and add your IPTV playlist in 2026. Full guide.
A TiviMate account is the Google account you use to purchase and activate TiviMate Premium. Without it, the app runs in free mode with limited features. If you want a full IPTV service to pair with it, you can try it free first before committing to anything.
This guide covers every step: creating your account, activating premium, adding a playlist, fixing common login errors, and renewing when your subscription lapses.
What a TiviMate account actually is
TiviMate does not have its own account system with a username and password on their servers. When people say "TiviMate account," they mean the Google Play account used to buy TiviMate Premium. That Google account is what the app checks when you tap Unlock Premium.
This is worth understanding before you start, because it changes how you troubleshoot. If you switch phones or factory-reset a device, you do not need a TiviMate-specific login. You just need to sign back into the same Google account and tap Unlock Premium again.
Free vs. premium
The free version of TiviMate lets you add one playlist and watch live TV. Premium adds:
- Multiple playlists
- Recording to local storage
- Multiview (watch up to four channels at once)
- Parental controls
- Catch-up playback (where your IPTV provider supports it)
For most users, premium is worth it. The recording and multiview features alone separate TiviMate from simpler IPTV players.
How to set up your TiviMate account and activate premium
The process differs slightly by device, but the logic is the same on every Android-based platform.
On a Firestick or Fire TV
Amazon's App Store does not carry TiviMate. You need to sideload it:
- Enable Apps from Unknown Sources in your Fire TV settings under My Fire TV, Developer Options.
- Install the Downloader app from the Amazon App Store.
- Use Downloader to fetch the TiviMate APK from the official TiviMate site.
- Open TiviMate after installation.
- Tap Settings, then Unlock Premium.
- Sign in with the Google account linked to your TiviMate Premium purchase. Note that the exact activation flow on Firestick may differ from a standard Google Play purchase, check the official TiviMate documentation to confirm the current steps for your device.
If you have not bought Premium yet, you will need an Android phone or tablet to complete the Google Play purchase first. Once the purchase is on your Google account, you can activate it on the Firestick by signing in.
On Android TV or Google TV
Install TiviMate directly from the Google Play Store. Sign in with your Google account. Tap Unlock Premium inside the app. Google Play recognizes the purchase immediately because you are already signed into the account that owns it.
On an Android phone or tablet
Same process as Android TV. Find TiviMate in the Play Store, install it, open it, and tap Unlock Premium. If you have not purchased it yet, the purchase flow opens in Google Play at that point.
Adding your IPTV playlist to TiviMate
Activating premium is only half the job. TiviMate needs a playlist source before you can watch anything. There are two main ways to connect one.
M3U URL
If your IPTV provider gives you an M3U link:
- Open TiviMate and go to Settings, then Playlists.
- Tap the plus icon and choose M3U URL.
- Paste the link and give the playlist a name.
- Set an EPG URL if your provider supplies one, which is usually listed in your welcome email.
- Tap Finish. TiviMate loads the channel list automatically.
Xtream Codes
If your provider uses Xtream Codes, you will have a server address, username, and password instead of an M3U link:
- Go to Settings, Playlists, and tap the plus icon.
- Choose Xtream Codes.
- Enter the server URL (usually formatted as
http://yourprovider.com:port), your username, and your password. - Tap Finish.
Xtream Codes connections tend to be more stable and let TiviMate pull EPG data without a separate URL.

Fixing common TiviMate account login problems
Most login issues come down to one of three causes: wrong Google account, an expired subscription, or a billing problem with Google Play.
Wrong Google account on the device
If you bought TiviMate Premium on one Google account but the device is signed into a different one, Unlock Premium will not find your purchase. Check which account is active under your device settings. Sign into the correct Google account, then try again.
Google play says purchase not found
This usually means either the purchase was made under a different email, or Google Play's cache is out of sync. On Android, go to Settings, Apps, Google Play Store, and clear the cache. Restart the app and try Unlock Premium again. On Firestick, you cannot clear the Play cache directly since you are not using Play, so verify you are signing in with the exact Google account that holds the purchase.
The app asks for username, password, and server address
This is not a TiviMate account login prompt. That screen appears when you go to add an Xtream Codes playlist. If you see it unexpectedly, you have tapped Add Playlist rather than Unlock Premium. Navigate back to Settings and locate the Unlock Premium option specifically.
Subscription expired mid-month
If premium features suddenly disappear, check your Google Play subscription status. Open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, and go to Payments and Subscriptions. If the TiviMate subscription shows as expired or cancelled, you can renew it directly from that screen.
Managing and renewing your TiviMate account
TiviMate Premium is available through Google Play, though purchase options and plan types may vary, so check the current listing before buying. Google renews active subscriptions automatically unless you cancel. A few things worth keeping track of:
- The renewal charge hits the payment method on file with Google, not TiviMate.
- If your payment method expires or fails, Google typically retries for a short grace period before cancelling.
- You can cancel auto-renewal in Google Play without losing access immediately. Premium stays active until the current period ends.
- If you want to switch devices, there is no transfer process needed. Just sign into the same Google account on the new device and tap Unlock Premium.
TiviMate does not store your subscription data or personal information on their own servers. Everything is handled through Google's billing infrastructure, which means TiviMate support has limited ability to intervene in billing disputes. Those go through Google Play directly.
TiviMate Account FAQ
How do I pay for a TiviMate subscription?
TiviMate Premium is purchased through the Google Play Store using your Google account. Open TiviMate, tap 'Unlock Premium', and follow the in-app billing flow. Payment is handled entirely by Google, not TiviMate directly.
How do I unlock Premium on TiviMate?
Open TiviMate, go to Settings, and tap 'Unlock Premium'. You will be prompted to sign in with the Google account linked to your purchase. Once verified, premium features activate immediately on that device.
How do I renew my TiviMate account?
If you bought an annual plan, Google Play renews it automatically on the billing date. You can check renewal status in Google Play under Subscriptions. If auto-renew is off, open TiviMate and go through the Unlock Premium flow again to repurchase.
Is TiviMate illegal?
TiviMate itself is a legal media player app, similar to VLC or Kodi. Legality depends entirely on the IPTV service you connect to it. Using a licensed IPTV provider keeps you on the right side of the law.
Can I use one TiviMate account on multiple devices?
Yes. TiviMate Premium is tied to your Google account, so any Android or Fire TV device signed into that same Google account can activate premium by going to Settings and tapping Unlock Premium.
